A World of Inclusion: News of Interest GlobalHue Lands Deal With Wal-Mart World’s Largest Retailer Takes Multicultural Approach
This multicultural outreach with the help of GlobalHue can only help Wal-Mart, says diversity expert Lenora Billings-Harris. “Many organizations have made multimillion-dollar mistakes when trying to target minority markets without the direct assistance of experts in that market,” she says. “Wal-Mart needs to develop sensitivity to their customer’s needs from within their organization as well as by hiring diverse talent. Additionally, they should work to help their executives better understand the business case as well as the diversity competencies needed internally to really make these marketing efforts pay off in the long run.”
